Beginner Printmaking Class!

This is an open to the public, beginner printmaking workshop! This workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of linocut printing, from carving your own design onto linoleum blocks to creating an edition of unique prints on paper. All materials will be provided.

What to expect:

*       Tips and tricks for designing and transferring your artwork onto linoleum blocks. Bring a photo or picture for inspiration.
You do not need to be able to draw – don’t worry!
*       Step-by-step guidance on carving techniques and tool usage
*       Hands-on practice to master cutting and printing techniques using “mark making” tester pieces

You will make a total of (3) prints along side your initial carved lino.
